First things first since he reads this every week...HAPY BIRTHDAY to my Dad, who at age 73 is still going to the racetrack five nights a week and running two businesses while he is at it. You always have been, and still are, a great inspiration! <br><Br> This week's article looks at an NBA game as well as my first foray into MLB for 2103. Hope you enjoy it!<br><Br>Our first choice today comes in the NBA, and we are going with Golden State (-) over Minnesota. The Warriors lost Sunday night in a game in which they really did not play well at all while Utah was at its best, as the Jazz were inspired by a Lakers loss earlier in the day. Golden St needs to be better here today, and they are still playing to maintain their seed in the West. Note that Golden State is 7-3 ATS this season after an outright loss as chalk, and the last time they were in that spot they won 125-98! We will lay the points here today. <br><br>Next up we go to Major League Baseball, and when looking at baseball there are two things to do first...find out who the Cubs are playing and take that team...as maybe Marmol will blow another save, or go against the Astros. In this particular case it is the latter for us, as Houston has lost five in a row after beating Texas in the opener, and those five losses were AT HOME, where they are usually at least respectable. Now they are on the road, where they have posted a 45-119 record the last three seasons.
