NFC West 2009 Preview!!

   The West in each conference is the weakest of any division, but there could be one surprise here and that comes from the 49er's. Arizona and the Niners meet in Week 1 and the winner of that game will have the early leg on winning this division. The NFC West plays the AFC South this year so those will be difficult games against the Colts and Titans especially, but the Cardinals have to play the Giants and Panthers, while the 49er's play the Falcons and Eagles. I would even go so far as to say if the 49er's win the Week 1 matchup they will win this division, but I'm betting the Cards win and win this division by a game. The Rams and Seahawks are in for long years both teams will be lucky to win 6 games.

    Final Standings:

  Arizona 10-6

  49er's 9-7

  Seahawks 6-10

  Rams 5-11

X-Factor--If San Francisco can get Crabtree signed by at least Week 2 and have him playing by Week 4 that would help their chances of winning the West, but my guess is this kid and his family are too stubborn to realize that they are wrong and should alreay be with the team.
