NFL Football Playoff Preview: AFC Championship Game: Welcome to another exciting NFL championship game preview, as we here at Great Lakes Sports will give you some insight into this highly contested match-up between the New York Jets and the Indianapolis Colts. In the divisional playoff game between the Baltimore Colts and the Indianapolis Colts, it was all Colts, who dismantled the Baltimore Ravens20-3. The Indianapolis Colts owned a first down advantage of 22-12 over the Ravens and super QB Payton Manning threw for 246 yards with two TD passes, while the Baltimore Ravens had four costly turnovers. The second game in AFC divisional play was between a huge underdog in the New York Jets and the San Diego Chargers. It did not look good early for the Jets as their first six possessions ended up with six punts, including four three and outs. The New York Jets lost the total yardage battle 344-262, but they did have a lot of success running the ball and only had one turnover, which was key in the New York Jets upset win 17-14. When Indianapolis plays host, this game will pit the Indianapolis Colts, who have one of the more potent offenses in the league, against the New York Jets, who have one of the leagues toughest defenses, especially against the run. The winner of the game will be the one who will be able to force the turnovers and will win the battle in the trenches. We expect this expect this game will be highly competitive.
