Hello to all youwinnow.com customers, and MERRY CHRISTMAS from all of us at Triple Threat Sports.. Every year for Christmas, instead of selling our plays for the day, we post them (with full analysis) here for free in artcle form It is our way of saying thanks for a great year, and looking forward to a great 2010. Today we have plays in the NBA and NFL, as well as some opinions in College Hoops. Enjoy! NBA: 2* La Lakers (-) over Cleveland Last year the Lakers went into Cleveland and pummeled the Cavs by far more than the final score showed, and in fact the Lake Show beat the LeBrons by double digits both times last year. Now at home and very motivated, look to see Kobe and Co. do it again, especially since away dogs off an OT win of 10 points or more are 0-11 SU and 2-9 ATS since 1985. Lay the points in this one. NFL: 2* Tennessee (-) over San Diego One key stat jumps out while examining this game, and that is the fact that the Chargers are allowing 4.4 yards per carry this season (5.3 ypc the last five games) and almost 120 rushing yards per game. That alone would be cause for bad news against Chris Johnson and Vince Young, but consider that the Chargers have been ahead in most games during this winning streak. As such, most teams were trying to pass to catch up, and still foes are averaging 117 yards per game on the ground. Tennessee is going to run, then run, then run some more, and that plays into their strength and the weakness of the Chargers. One other note is the injury status of both teams, as Tennessee is at virtually full strength and the Chargers have a bunch of folks knicked up. Finally, a look at the numbers shows that the Titans are 1-0/3-1/17-4 ATS as home chalk of this range. College Hoops: Top Ops: UNLV (-) over USC, Hawaii (+) over St Mary's Thanks, Good Luck, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! THIS SUNDAY IS OUR NFL PLAY OF THE YEAR!!!! |
