All of our Direct Service action tonite is in the West Regional, but of course we took a long look at the East Regional as well. Presented below are the exact writeups our Direct Clients got on those two games, featuring Cornell vs Kentucky and Washington vs West Virginia: Top Opinion: Cornell (+) over Kentucky Big Red have not played a typical Ivy League schedule, as they have played six games this season against teams in the Top 60 of our Power Ratings. They are an impressive 4-2 SU and 5-1 ATS in those games, with of course the highlight being their near upset of Kansas. Also like the fact that Cornell is a senior laden team that is playing against a very talented but still young Wildcat team, especially since Cats not great from the line to begin with and nerves tend to manifest themselves the most at the stripe. Lastly, our Power Ratings line on this game was Kentucky -4.5, so we will take the points here. Top Opinion: Washington (+) over West Virginia Simply put, the Huskies are good! They have had a ton of talent all year long but were not clicking early on in the season. Since the proverbial light went in UW is 14-2 SU in their last 16 games, twice beating a Cal team that is only rated a point worse than West Virginia in our Power Ratings. The loss of their starting Point Guard would hurt against any team but is deep trouble against the Isaiah Thomas led Huskies, and UW gets the call here. This one stays a Top Op since West Virginia has exceeded our expectations this season and there are times a team really rallies in the first game after a key player gets injured. Still like UW, but caution prevails. TODAY IS THE DAY OF OUR STRONGEST TOTALS PLAY OF THE NCAA TOURNAMENT, AND WE ARE ADDING IN A BONUS SIDE PLAY AS WELL!!!
