Welcome t o another exciting NCAA Tournament this year. We here at Great Lakes Sports Will give you a preview of the contenders in this year’s Big Dance, and Great Lakes Sports would like to wish you good luck this upcoming NCAA tournament season. NCAA Contenders: Kansas – The number one ranked Kansas Jayhawks is having an outstanding year going amazing 32-2 including winning five in a row. The Jayhawks is also loaded with ten underclassmen but are led by 5’11" Senior Guard Sherron Collins 15.6ppg who will create a lot of easy open look with his outstanding passing. The Kansas Jayhawks are not as deep as some might think, but they are very athletic, and their starting five is as good as anyone in the country. We look for the Kansas Jayhawks to play their up tempo style of Basketball which will create match up problems for teams, and we like the Kansas Jayhawks to win the NCAA tournament this year. Kentucky – The Kentucky Wildcats also is having an outstanding year going 32-2 heading in to NCAA tournament action. The Wildcats are led first team all-defensive team Patrick Patterson, SEC Freshman player of the year DeMarcus Cousins, and SEC player of the year and soon to be a NBA lottery pick Freshman John Wall. The Kentucky Wildcats had a very young team with first year head coach John Calipari but has gained the knowledge and motivation from one of the elite coaches in all of College Basketball. We look for the Kentucky to use their athleticism and depth to roll into the NCAA tournament Championship game this year. The Wildcats will be they’re at the end but lack of experience might be their demise. We here at Great Lakes Sports will call thee Kentucky Wildcats to be the second bet team in the country this season. West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers have just won the rugged big east tournament, and are a stellar 27-6 this season including winning their last six games. This will help the West Virginia Mountaineers in the Big Dance this year with their gritty defense holding their opponents to only 63.8 points per game. The West Virginia Mountaineers are led by All-Big East Conference 6’7" Senior Forward Da’Sean Butler 17.4ppg with Huggie Boys coming at you from all angles. This is a very well coached team, and always fined a way to get the job done. We look for the magic carpet for the West Virginia Mountaineers to continue to the final four, and we will call for the West Virginia Mountaineers to be the third best team in the NCAA tournament this year. Texas A&M. – The Texas A&M Aggies is our dark horse in the NCAA tournament this year. The Texas A&M Aggies are have a very solid year going 23-9 including 9-3 in their last twelve games. The Texas A&M Aggies are led by 6’3" Senior Guard Donald Sloan 18.2ppg, and with ten upperclassmen experience will not be a problem. We look for this Cinderella team to make a huge impact in this year NCAA tournament, and we here at Great Lakes Sports will call for the Texas A&M Aggies to be the fourth best team in this year’s NCAA tournament.
