This may well be the most interesting division to follow in the NFL this year. The Lions are trying not to make history by losing more consecutive than any team ever and it wasn't made any easier by starting Matthew Stafford from Day 1 of the regular season. Meanwhile the never ending saga of the most overrated QB since Dan Marino continues with Brett Favre in Minnesota. Jay Cutler debuts in Chicago with Devin Hester as his number 1 receiver which means that he'll miss Mike Shanahan for his stats but he may well have more success. Lastly, the Green Bay Packers feature the best QB in the division with an ever maturing Aaron Rodgers at the helm.

I have a hard time seeing Green Bay with any worse than a 6-2 record after the first half of the season and if they somehow beat the Vikings twice, which is very possible they could be unbeaten. That means I have the Pack as my NFC North Champion and likely the 1 or 2 seed in the NFC this year. Rodgers for all the Fantasy nuts will have a season that will make Green Bay say Brett who, because I see him with 40 TD's combined through the air and on the ground where he seems to make 2 big plays a game. That means that the Vikings will fight the Bears for the what will be one of the final two playoff spots, because I still like 2 teams out of the East making it. Final numbers for this division are:

     1. Green Bay 12-4

     2. Minnesota 10-6

     3. Chicago 9-7

     4. Detroit 2-14

X-Factor--Devin Hester's growth as a receiver could vault the Bears over the Vikings for the final playoff spot.

  NFC North MVP--Aaron Rodgers
