It's the same old story in this division as the Steelers and Ravens are the cream of the crop, but I do expect Cincinnati to improve if they can keep Palmer upright for 12-16 games. Rey Maualuga will be a beast for the Bengals but they still need a better pass rush to make their defense good enough to hang with the Steelers and Ravens. I expect Chad 85 to have a big year and that is why the Bengals will not be a rollover this year. The Browns I just can't see doing much even though I think Quinn will be the best ND QB to come out since Montana, although that isn't saying much since Rick Mirer and Steve Buerlein were about the only other ones who saw major time in the NFL. The Steelers are loaded on offense with Big Ben, Ward, Holmes, Parker and the now healthy Mendenhall, but defense with those linebackers and Polamalu is still their calling card. That offense gives them an edge over an improved Ravens offense, but I would expect a slightly less intimidating defense. We all know that Pittsburgh should make the playoffs and I'm guessing that the Ravens will secure one of the 2 wild card spots. 1. Pittsburgh 11-5 2. Baltimore 9-7 3. Cincinnati 7-9 4. Cleveland 6-10 X-Factor--The loss of Rex Ryan as the Ravens Defensive Coordinator AFC North MVP--James Harrison |
