The NFL AFC Championship game is set for this Sunday January 24th at 3:00 PM ET with the New York Jets vs. the Indianapolis Colts. This is a must win game if you want to make it to the 2010 Super Bowl 44 on Sunday February 7th. The current betting lines for the match up have the Colts favored by 7.5 points with a posted total of 39.5.

The fifth seeded Jets have won seven of their last eight games leading up to this weekend's AFC Championship match-up with the Colts. The last time the Jets played in the AFC Championship was back in 1998. The best chance for the Jets to win this weekend is with their league leading defense, which needs to control the Colts potent passing game similar to what they did against the Chargers this past weekend.

The top seeded Colts are looking to advance to the Super Bowl for the second time in four years. Indy will need Peyton Manning to be on his A-game if they plan to win the 2010 AFC Championship. The Colts lead the Jets 40-28 in all of the meetings these two teams have had, however the Jets hold the advantage in the playoffs winning both of the match ups. Look for this 2010 AFC Championship game to go Under the posted total of 39.5 points.
