This Saturday, two great Pac 10 teams will square off when California and Oregon State tangle. The Golden Bears have had a bit of a disappointing season after being ranked in the top 10 early on. After losing to Oregon and USC badly, they are back in the top 25 again and have a 6-2 record. The Oregon State Beavers come in at 5-3 and currently sit at fourth place in the conference race. This should be another classic Pac 10 battle. The Oregon State Beavers have had good luck against the Bears in recent years. They are led by quarterback Sean Canfield and the Rogers brothers. Jacquizz and James Rogers are one of the most dynamic duos in college football. For example, last week, Jacquizz rushed for 112 yards, had 96 yards receiving and threw for a score, while James caught 10 balls for 106 yards and had a rushing touchdown. That is a tough combination to account for for the Golden Bears. The Bears are questionable against the pass, currently ranked 8th in the conference, and it will be tough to stop such a talented pair of players. The Golden Bears are led by quarterback Kevin Riley and he still remembers last season's loss at the hands of Oregon State. He has always played well against them but the team has still come up short. In his last three games, he's thrown for almost 800 yards and eight touchdowns. They also boast one of the best running backs in the country in Jahvid Best. Best was thought of as a Heisman contender early on and has had a solid season so far. Look for this game to be decided by whoever can stop the other team the most. The Bears will have to stop the Rogers boys while the Beavers must contain Best and Riley. This should be a good one.
