The Colts(11-6) have gone 9-1 last 10. Their only loss in that span was a 0-6 shutout to Jacksonville. Now they face the Chiefs(12-4) who went 7-3 last 10. Their defense is suspect and the run game has become mediocre at best. This high total tells us Vegas expects some points. This one will come down to the wire. Take the Colts plus the points. |

Alabama(14-0) and Clemson(14-0) face off again for the National Championship, the teams have split when facing each other. Alabama has won every game by 7 or more points. The question has always been their strength of schedule, but I’m not sold on the ACC this year. Clemson dominated the ACC, but those teams like Notre Dame, were overrated. The Eagles(9-7) travel to face the scary defense of the Bears(12-4) in the NFC WildCard game. Both coaches fall from the Andy Reid tree and will know what to expect, it will be execution that wins. Eagles have averaged 27 per since Nick Foles took over as quarterback. The Bears dropped 25 and 20 on the Vikings defense and that defense can defend the pass. This game will be won through the air. The Early AFC WildCard game features the Colts(10-6) and Texans(11-5). The public likes the Colts, I am on the Total. Watson at home with arguably the best receiver in the business. Ohio State(12-1) was snubbed for Oklahoma in the CFP. They are in the Rose Bowl facing Washington(10-3). Washington has senior quarterback Browning playing in his final game. Urban Meyer is stepping down from his coaching spot. Ohio State has quarterback Haskins, this kid broke a lot of records this season and has been Meyers best quarterback since Tebow. Ohio State has their problems on defense that Washington can expose. Ohio State has scored on everyone and will score on Washington’s top defense. Take the over. (276) |

The Packer(6-8-1) could’ve sat Aaron Rodgers for the final two games, but he said he will play. They got their 1st road win last week and are primed to finish strong against the Lions(5-10). The Orange Bowl feature #1 Alabama(13-0)vs #4 Oklahoma(12-1). I give Oklahoma a 9% chance to pull the upset. The lack of defense is going to be Oklahoma’s downfall. As much as Alabama always having a great defense, their offense may overshadow their great D. The only thing Oklahoma can do is try to outscore Alabama and Georgia proved if you have a decent quarterback you can pass on these corners. Take the over(254) |

Notre Dame(12-0) ranked 3rd faces Clemson(13-0) in the Cotton Bowl. Nothing new for Clemson as they’ve been in the playoffs last 3 winning a National Championship. Notre Dames first trip since the playoffs started. The public love the Irish here, but their big wins came when teams were down a starting quarterback, Syracuse or a bad Navy team and Michigan at home to start the season. Not sure of any quality wins on the schedule. This will be the best defense Notre Dame will face to this point. Take Clemson (256) minus the points. |
